The Big Kansas Road Trip (BKRT) has been held since 2018 with the exception of 2020 because of COVID. This experience is a four day exploration for travelers to experience selected communities so they are able to learn about rural areas through first-hand experiences. This year, the Kansas Sampler Foundation chose Jewell, Republic and Smith counties. The Big Kansas Road Trip will take place May 4 through 7.
