Students attending the Thayer Central Schools at Hebron have had some unexpected days off this week. The schools were closed Monday and Tuesday as law enforcement officers continue to investigate a threat the school received Friday afternoon.

Neither school administrators or law enforcement officers have indicated the nature of the threat.

Friday’s basketball games were played as scheduled at Hebron on Friday.

Students and staff members were kept out of the schools on Monday and Tuesday as investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol worked at the schools with sheriff’s officers..<...
