Lawrence-Nelson FFA have busy schedule

Lawrence-Nelson FFA had a successful District LDE contest on Wednesday, Jan. 25. Twenty-eight members travelled to Aurora to compete in 11 different events, Participants included (back row, from left) Adam Theer- sponsor, Evan Jacobitz, Keaton Mazour, Josie Hajny, Nathan Elledge, Emily Watts, Connor Janda, Chad Holcomb, Sawyer Cox, Wyatt Hajny, Nolan Ostdiek, Cody Funk, Nolan Jacob Kathman, Nathan Stokes, Cody Brockman, Hayden Mazour, and Kylie Kinley - sponsor,(middle) Natalie Jacobitz, Bailey Ceder, Ace Wulf, Jace Hoelting, Nathan Pofahl, and Owen Smiley, (front) Preslea Adams, Maddy Laughlin, Maya Fanning, Bayleigh Bohlen, Brody Buescher, Monte Hajny and Jasper Elledge.

Lawrence-Nelson FFA had a successful District LDE contest on Jan. 25. Twenty-eight Raiders went to Aurora to compete in 11 events. Jasper Elledge earned district runner up and a trip to state in Discovery Speaking with his speech about cow dogs. Brody Buescher earned fourth and first alternate to state in Ag Literacy Speaking with his speech about John Deere. FFA members were gearing up for Spring CDEs at Central Community College, state degree interviews and National FFA Week.
