Blue Hill radar down for upgrading work

The KUEX Blue Hill Doppler Radar scheduled outage for a generator upgrade is today (Thursday) through Feb. 23. The radar will be out of service most of the seven-day period.

The radar will be taken down sometime today (Thursday, Feb. 16). It will return to service by Feb. 23.

Beginning today (through Feb. 23), if you are looking for the radar on the Nebraska Weather Service website, the data will not be available. Many radar programs combine radar images into one image.
