The Nelson American Legion Family held their monthly meeting Thursday, in the club meeting room. During the joint portion of the meeting, ongoing services to veterans and active military members were discussed, including the Buddy Check Project and the Veterans’ crisis line.

Roger Williams, District 10 chaplain, was in attendance and outlined his projects for the Nelson community and the entire district. Roger is planning to make visits to veterans in long term care facilities and the homebound as well as being available to visit any who are in any type of crisis. Any individual who w...
