Coe Nielson finished in second place in the 106 pound weight bracket in his final season match for Beloit at the NCAA league tournament at Southeast of Saline at Gypsum Friday. he earned 14 team points for Beloit.

Nielson wrestles as a member of the Beloit Trojans team as part of a cooperative program during the regular season.

He will wrestle for Rock Hills Friday and Saturday as he vies for a place at the state tournament. The 3-2-1A Regional state qualifying tournament is being staged at Beloit Friday and Saturday. Nielson will compete against wrestlers from 23 schools for a place at the state tournament at Hays.
