We are not sure if this eagle was ashamed to eat in public or if it was saving the fish for a later snack but the bird was holding a small fish in a talon when Mary Utecht snapped this picture at Lovewell Lake on Monday. There seem to be plenty of snow geese in the area this month but eagles are hard to spot.
