The Nuckolls County Board of Commissioners met at the courthouse in Nelson Tuesday. The meeting was Tuesday because of the President’s Day holiday Monday.
The board approved claims and pledged securities.
The county approved a contract with the state department of transporation allowing the state to use a county road as a detour during a bridge replacement project near Deweese in 2025.
The board approved a letter of support for the South Central Public Power District for as grant application to upgrade their terminal connections.
They will meet at 8:20 a.m. Monday, March 6 at the courthouse.
