The Jewell County Commissioners met March 13. Commissioners Brent Beck, Keith Roe, and Ed Duskie, were present. Carla J. Waugh, county clerk, was also present.

Alex Pierce, county attorney, discussed collection of unpaid accounts in the Health Department. She discussed options of small claims, income withholding order, the set-off program and other options to collect the money owed to the Health Department for services provided.

Joel Elkins, general superintendent, said they continue to work on the canal bridge replacement. He discussed rock projects. He said some of the tubes have been delivered from the bids.
