Shirley Webber

 

Shirley Kay Webber, the daughter of Stanley and Beulah (Hines) Webber, was born on Oct. 6, 1950, in Superior, Nebraska. She died April 3, 2023, at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at the age of 72 years, 5 months, 28 days.

Shirley attended Superior Public Schools and was a Superior High School graduate. She retired as a dispatcher and jailor for the Nuckolls County Sheriff's Department. She enjoyed cooking, baking and sharing her baked goods with family and friends. She liked her shopping trips with her friends, and attending all the children's activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Jimmy Webber.

Survivors include her brother, Robert and his wife, Deb, of Narka, Kansas; nephews, Mark, and wife, Yuhne, and Michael, and wife, Leigh Ann; great-nephews, Braxton Webber, Anders Webber and Johan Webber; great-nieces Ashley Webber and Lexi Webber; great-great-niece, Nayvie Roberts and soon to be Emerson Webber; other relatives and a host of many friends.

Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 7, from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior with Pastor Natalie Faust officiating.

Music will be "Daddy's Hands" and "Old Rugged Cross."

Book signing visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Thursday).

Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Webber, Anders Webber, Johan Webber, Ashley Webber and Lexi Webber.

Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior.
