The Jewell County Commissioners met Monday.Commissioners Brent Beck, Keith Roe and Ed Duskie were present. Carla J. Waugh, county clerk, was present for the meeting.

The purchase of the Dell desktop computer for $599.99 for the register of deeds office was approved.

Don Jacobs, sheriff, discussed purchasing the body cams for $4,260. He plans to submit an application to KCAMP for $2,000 of grant funds through the public safety program and also requested APRA grant funds for the remainder $2,260. He said Manuel Lucero graduates Friday from the law enforcement academy.
