The Rock Hills girls 4x100 relay team came in first at the Del Wicks Invitational at Deshler, last Thursday. The girls 4x100 relay team from Rock Hills are (from left) Hallee Mizner, Savannah Coil, Grace Ayers and Bethany Simmelink.
The Rock Hills High School boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Del Wicks Invitational meet hosted by Deshler High School Thursday.
The girls team finished in fifth place, with 66 points in the nine team field of Thayer Central, Meridian, Dorchester Public, Deshler, Lawrence-Nelson, Superior and Friend.
The boys team was in fourth place with 61 points.
Bethany Simmelink took home second place points in the 100 meter dash with her time of 13.25 seconds. Grace Ayers was in fourth place with a time of 13.53 seconds. Halle Mizner had a time of 14.06 seconds.
