SHS golf at Red Cloud

The Superior High School boys golf team competed at the Bob Bohrer Invitational played over the Red Cloud Golf Club course Thursday.

Superior finished in eighth place, with 390 strokes, in the 13 team field of Lawrence-Nelson, the the event winner, Doniphan-Trumbull, Exeter-Milligan, Sandy Creek, Red Cloud, Gibbon, Hastings St. Cecilia, Deshler, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Franklin, Blue Hill and Heartland Lutheran.

Colten Butler led the Wildcats with a round of 89. Butler was awarded the 14th place individual medal. Carsyn Koening had a round of 93. Ayron and Ashton Grassman shot identical rounds of 104.

Superior played at the Crooked Creek Country Club course Tuesday for the Sandy Creek Invitational. Match results were unavailable at press time,

The team will compete at the Blue Hill Invitational Tuesday. The match will be contested over the Red Cloud Golf Club course.
