The Rock Hills High School A and B group track and field teams hosted the Route 36 Invitational at Mankato Thursday.

The girls A team finished in fifth place, with 44 points in the eight team field of Smith Center, the group winner, Republic County, Washington, Linn, Axtell, Southern Cloud and Pike Valley. The girls B team took top honors with 123 points.

The boys A team was in fifth place with 65 points. The B team took third place with 76 points

The A group athletes are eighth grade students while the B group athletes are sixth and seventh grade students.

Alivia Lindberg finished in fourth place in the girls A group 100 meter dash with her time of 14.96 seconds. Chloe Rothchild had a time of 15.77 seconds. Melysa Cruz clocked a 16.57 second heat.

Melli Ost ran a B group 100 meter dash in 13.79 seconds. Greta Ayers had a time of 14.52 seconds. Makinna Cross had a time of 15,3 seconds.

Lindberg was the first runner across the finish line in the A group 200 meter dash with her time of 31.8 seconds. Rothchild was in third place with her time of 33.29 seconds. Jayce Cady had a time of 41.61 seconds.

Cross took sixth place in the B group 200 meter dash with her time of 33.51 seconds. Harlee Harris had a time of 33.55 seconds. Tenzleigh Herz posted a time of 33.76 seconds.

Rothchild had a time of 1:22.16 for the A group 400 meter dash.

Sadie Greene recorded a time of 1:17.85 for a sixth place finish in the B group 400 meter dash. Tayla Reynolds had a time of 1:18.28.

Ost took the first place points for the B group 800 meter run with her time of 2:46.11.

Merissa Coleman had a time of 8:03.43 for the B group 1600 meter run.

Coleman was in fourth place in the B group 3200 meter run with her time of 16:59.22.

Brynlee Manning claimed the first place points in the B group 100 meter hurdles with her time of 19.26 seconds. Harper Ost was in second place with her time of 19.64 seconds. Aerilyn Davis earned a sixth place finish with her time of 20.26 seconds.

Rothchild picked up the fourth place points in the A group 200 meter hurdles with her time of 37.22 seconds.

H. Ost was in third place in the B group 200 meter hurdles with her time of 37.22 seconds.

The 4 x 100 meter B group relay team of Ayers, Autumn McCormick, Manning and M. Ost were in first place with their time of 58.19 seconds.

The 4 x 200 meter B group relay team of Cross, Herz, Harris and McCormick finished first with their time of 2:08.72.

The SMR 100-100-200-400 meter B group relay team of Davis, Greene, Reynolds and Harris had a fifth place finish with their time of 2:26.56.

Cady took third place in the A group shot put with a toss of 29'4". Allison Underwood had a best toss of 19'11". Cruz had a toss of 15'6.5".

Coleman had a best effort of 26'3.75" for the B group shot put. Brecken Shulda had a toss of 21'5". Savannah Mitchell recorded a toss of 21'4".

Cady collected the first place points for the A group discus with her throw of 72'9". Cruz had a best throw hrow of 54'3". Haylee Bledsoe had a throw of 38'8"

Coleman held down third place in the B group discus with her throw of 59'10". Mitchell had a throw of 43'7" Bledsoe listed a throw of 37'2".

Lindberg was fourth in the A group high jump when she cleared 3'10". Manning grabbed first place in the B group high jump with her 4'4" effort. McCormick was in fifth place with her 3'6" jump.

Lindberg was in sixth place in the long jump with her leap of 11'6".

Manning earned the second place points in the B group long jump with her leap of 12'7". Shulda had a jump of 7'11".

Greene collected the first place points for the triple jump with her combined distance of 26'.25"

Justin Luong finished in fourth place in the Group A boys 100 meter dash. Cruz Navarro was in fifth place with his time of 13.28 seconds.

Zak Dean grabbed second place in the B group 100 meter dash with his time of 13.26 seconds. Leighten Ault was in sixth place with his time of 13.88 seconds. Gabriel O'Connor finished with the time of 14.05 seconds.

Navarro was in fifth place in the A group 200 meter dash with his time of 27.74 seconds.

Waysen Colsen ran the B group 200 meter dash with his time of 31.79 seconds. Owen Mizner had a time of 33.77 seconds. Coil ran a 35.71 second preliminary heat.

Ault ran a B group 400 meter dash heat in 1:12.06". Nolan Grout completed his preliminary heat in 1:17.33. Derrick Dooley had a time of 1:2314.

Luong earned the second place points in the A group 800 meter run with his time of 2:30.64. Noah Eakins had a time of 3:03.62.

Griffin Dunstan claimed third place in the B group 800 meter run with his time of 2:55.71. Luke Simmelink listed a time of 3:07.44. Dooley finished with the time of 3:19.36.

Eakins took third place in the A group 1600 meter run with his time of 6:39.54. Blake Fultz was in fifth place with his time of 8:33.59.

Simmelink had a time of 7:01.57 for the B group 1600 meter run. Blaine Frost finished in 7:03.07.

Fultz was in fifth place in the A group 3200 meter run.

Braiden Juarez had a fourth place finish in the B group 3200 meter run with his time of 16:25.52.

Noah Mitchell was fifth in the A group 100 meter hurdles with his time of 19.12 seconds.

L. Ault registered a third place finish in the B group 100 meter hurdles with his time of 17.23 seconds.

Mitchell was in fifth place in the A group 200 meter hurdles with his time of 35.04 seconds.

W. Ault collected the third place points in the B group 200 meter hurdles with his time of 34.98 seconds.

The 4 x 100 meter A group relay team of Luong, Mitchell, Navarro and Eli Whelchel snapped up the second place points with their time of 55.27 seconds.

The 4 x 100 meter B group relay team of L. Ault, Aiden Brown, Dean and O'Connor took away the first place points with their time of 2:13.79.

The 4 x 200 meter B group relay team of Coil, Simmelink, Owen Mizner and Colson finished in fifth place with their time of 2:13.79.

The SMR 800 meter B group relay team of Layn Badger, Colin Wirth, Mizner and Colson had a fifth place finish with their time of 2:16.39.

Whelchel cemented a second place finish in the A group shot put with his toss of 37'2". Eakins had a best toss of 22'. Ty Vance turned in a toss of 21'7".

Grout had a best toss of 25'.5" for the B group shot put event. Dunstan had a toss of 24'4".

Whelchel secured third place in the A group discus with his throw of 99'9". Vance came through with a 60'6" throw. Eakins had a throw of 59'10.75".

Grout had the fifth place spot in the B group discus with his throw of 79'4". Dunstan had a best throw of 69'.25'. O'Connor had a best effort of 60'3.5". Brown posted a height of 4'4" for the B group high jump.

Mitchell cleared the bar at 7' for third place in the group A pole vault.

W. Ault nabbed second place in the group B pole vault with his 7' effort. Wirth held down fifth place with his 6' effort. Frost took sixth place with his 5'6" mark.

Navarro was third in the A group long jump with his leap of 15'6". Luong was in sixth place with his 14'9.5" jump. Whelchel had a leap of 13'3".

Dean covered 16'2.5" for third place in the group B long jump. Brown landed sixth place with his jump of 14'9". Dunstan came in with a jump of 12'8".

O'Connor covered a combined distance of 31'2" for the group B triple jump.

Badger was in sixth place with his distance of 26'.5". Wirth covered 25'10".

The junior Grizzlies competed at the Southern Cloud Invitational at Beloit. Meet results were unavailable at press time.

The teams compete at the Lincoln Invitational today (Thursday).
