The Rock Hills High School varsity golf team took third place at the Rock Hills Invitational last Tuesday. Two individuals medaled. Ethan Wirth placed eighth and Garrett Barry placed 13th. Varsity golfers who competed were (from left) Ethan Wirth, Nelson Underwood, Calen Beck, Davin Coil and Garrett Barry.
The Rock Hills High School golf team hosted the Rock Hills Invitational at the Mankato Country Club course last Tuesday. Six teams competed at the event.
Ethan Wirth scored the eighth place finish medal in the individual standings. The team finished in third place.
Team members competing were wirth, Garrett Barry, Davin Coil, Nelson Underwood and Calen Beck. Two junior varsity golfers, Whitley Frost and Matthew Rice, competed in their first invite event.
The team competed at the Lakeside Invitational, played at Downs, Tuesday, with match results unavailable at press time.
