SHS golf at Blue Hill

 


The Superior High School golf team finished in sixth place at the Cyndi Peil Scramble hosted by Blue Hill High School and played over the Red Cloud Golf Course last Tuesday.

The Wildcats finished in sixth place, with a score of 267, for the 18-hole event. Other teams at the event were Lawrence-Nelson, Red Cloud, Heartland, Exeter-Milligan, Deshler, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Silver Lake, Blue Hill and Heartland Lutheran.

The scramble format has a two-player team hitting the ball and then playing their best shot.

The duo of Colten Butler and Carsyn Koening recorded a round of 78. Ashton and Ayron Grassman listed a round of 88. Cooper Ehlers and Owen Perrie carded a round of 101.

Superior is the host school for the Southern Nebraska Conference tourament to be played over the Superior Country Club course today (Thursday). The team closes out their regular season schedule Wednesday with the Thayer Central Invitational being played over the Hebron Country Club course.
