The best in the conference . . . In the golfing world at least. Ten members who took part in the Twin Valley Golf Tournament last week seem to be a happy bunch. Not only capturing the team trophy, four of the top five golfers at the event all came from the Lawrence-Nelson Raider's team. The 2023 edition of the L-N Raider golf team is making a name for itself. It has brought home several championship trophies so far in the season and last week it brought home a much coveted trophy from the Twin Valley Conference Tournament.
In past years the Raiders had individuals who golfed with the leaders in area schools. However, for 2023, four golfers were within six strokes of each other after 18 holes of golf for four of the lowest five golfers in the tournament.
Those four, Krayton Kucera 81; Toby Kotinek 83; Connor Janda 84 and Baylin Bargan 87, all were among the first five medalist...
