Bowling alley fracas

It wasn’t just bowling pins being reset at the Superior Bowl Saturday night.

An individual from Hastings was asked to leave the premises after he began behaving erratically. He was escorted out the door. Being dissatisfied with this outcome, he returned inside. He was interacting with staff and patrons in a threatening manner.

The Superior Police Department responded and attempted to de-escalate the situation. This was unsuccessful. A Nuckolls County sheriff’s deputy arrived on the scene and was confronted by the individual. After deploying his taser, the person hit the floor in a manner reminiscent of the pins falling in a strike frame.

He was transported to the Adams County jail where according to law enforcement officials, he continued to cause problems. A multitude of charges are being filed.
