The Jewell County Commissioners met May 8. Commissioners Brent Beck, Keith Roe and Ed Duskie were present. Carla Waugh, county clerk, also attended the meeting.

Shannon Meier, ambulance director, reviewed the monthly billing and activity report. He reported that Jewell County EMS received grant money for a Lucas 3 Chest Compression Systems.

Cindy Becker, health nurse, requested an executive session to discuss non-elected personnel for 10 minutes with Cindy Becker and Carla Waugh present. Regular session resumed with no action taken. Cindy said they were refunded $24,000 for the COVID-19 nurse....
