K C Council 1906 Grand Knight, Jerry Karmazin, displays the award the Lawrence Knights of Columbus received at the recent State Convention. The award was for the amount of money collected and donated this past year for the Tootsie Roll campaign for Intellectual Disabled. The top three Councils in each division for the amount of increase (in percentage) over the previous year were recognized for their efforts.

Mr. Karmazin expressed his appreciation to all who supported the Knights campaign. The Lawrence Council donated one half of what they raised to the ARC in Hastings. The other half will be used by the State KC Council on a state-wide basis.
