Burr Oak Library hosting summer reading program

 


The Burr Oak Community Library is holding a summer reading program from from now until July 31st. This year’s theme is “All Together Now: Kindness/Friendship/Unity.” Registration began Thursday. All ages may participate, including adults!

The library has a read-for-prizes program and programs every Wednesday in June and July at 2 p.m. The June programs begin with the KSDS Assistance Dogs from Washington, Kansas visiting yesterday (Wednesday). An Adventure Lab with Post Rock Extension will be featured on Wednesday, June 14.

Abby Elkins will host a storytime on June 21 revolving around kindness. Finally, on June 28, a Rock Hills student, Rylee Dunn, will be presenting a program titled “Minds of Different Kinds.”

July programs feature popcorn and groovy movies about friendship.
