Nelson Legion hosts pancake feed

Tom Creps, Terry Madsen and Vince Walton cooked breakfast for the Legion Breakfast fundraiser in Nelson, Saturday morning. Hidden is pancake flipper, Chuck Tuttle.
Nelson American Legion and Sons of the Legion made final plans for the pancake feed held on Saturday at their meeting held Thursday. Proceeds from the feed are to benefit the building fund to cover needed repairs and replacements.
In other business, plans were made for flag placement on Flag Day and 4th of July, and for the chicken dinner during the Nuckolls County Fair. Attendance at the state convention to be held in Kearney June 23 through 25 was urged.
