Goat roping coming to 2023 Jewell County Fair

The Jewell County Fair will be held July 7, 8 and 9 in Mankato. A popular event sweeping the Midwest is being offered this year starting at 7 p.m., on Friday, July 7. RK Goat Ropings, Palmer, Kansas, will be setting up a 50 by 30 area inside of the outdoor arena and 2-person teams will do goat roping on foot, coming out of the header and heeler chutes with the intent to rope the goat.
