One of the highlights of the Deshler Daze was the Izaak Walton Kid's Fishing Contest Saturday morning. Deshler Daze started Friday evening with a chicken barbecue, Saturday. Sunday a variety of eating venues were available. Saturday's events included the fishing tournament, a walking, jog or run event, a chess tournament, volleyball tournament, inflatables, foam party, corn hole tournament, alumni gathering and a teen dance. Sunday events also included a variety of eating venues and a road rally.
