Tennille Caulkins

Tennille Lane Caulkins was born on May 8, 1979, to Larry and Lila Jensby in Superior, Nebraska. Tennille entered glory on June 22, 2023.

Her early childhood was in Superior and rural Guide Rock, Nebraska, where she attended public school until fourth grade, then she was home schooled. At the early age of 8, Tennille received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. Since then, she never wavered from her love of God.

Upon completing her high school courses, Tennille enrolled in Platte Valley Bible College (now known as Summit Christian College) to continue her education. The first day of college, she met Johnpaul Caulkins whom she married a year later. On September 18, 2023, Tennille and Johnpaul would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

To their union, Tennille and Johnpaul welcomed daughters Vivian Harper in 2009, Amelia Bythe in 2011, Charlotte Hazel in 2013 and a son, Declan Forester, in 2015. Tennille was fully devoted to her four children and her husband.

Because of her quick wit and loving heart, Tennille was dearly loved by all who knew her. She has generously donated her organs and tissue so that others might live full lives.

In addition to her husband and children, Tennille leaves behind her father and stepmother, Larry and Stacey Jensby of Holstein, Nebraska; mother and stepfather , Clayton "Mac" and Lila McNabb of Jewell, Kansas; brothers Anton (Chloe) Jensby of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Clayton (Mandy) Jensby of Hastings, Nebraska; and Ashley and Heather Jensby of Nebraska; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Carol Caulkins of Richmond, Texas; sisters-in-law, Rosalyn (Douglas) Durre of Ord, Nebraska, Jocelyn (Donovan) Weber of Auckland, New Zealand; seven aunts, Sonya Jeffery of Ohio, Michelle Refford of Kansas, Emily Breeden of Kansas, Constance Halal of Arizona, Nancy Winnings of Nebraska, Gwen Daughhetee of Kansas, and Linda Jensby of Kansas, one uncle-in-law, John (Teri) Breeman of Nebraska; her best friend, Katie (Mychael) Haywood of Katy, Texas, and six nieces and three nephews.
