The Superior Good Samaritan Society facility underwent their annual survey by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. The survey, which takes more than three days to conduct, examines every aspect of the facility. Dietary, housekeeping, social services, patient care and documentation, in addition to many others, are subjected to a close inspection. When the survey was completed, no deficiencies of any kind were found.

Lori Renz, site administrator, is saying thank you to the staff with an ice cream social, Thursday, August 10 from noon to 3 p.m. Special Scoops Ice Cream Parlor, Hastings, will be on site to serve the staff at no cost. The public is invited but there will be a charge.

Special Scoops serves hard pack ice cream. It is special scoops served by special needs people.

Renz noted she “was so proud of the staff and all the work they do for the residents.”
