2-Lady Scramble held at Lawrence Country Club

Lawrence Country Club’s 2-Lady Scramble was played by 13 teams on Sunday, Aug. 20. Because of the heat, the women only played nine holes. The championship flight was won by Lenae Meyer and Carolyn Kohmetscher shooting a 31. Second place went to Amber Epley and Carla Kohmetscher with a 34. Third place went to Carol Lemke and Linda Kohmetscher with a 34. Donna Himmelberg and Peggy Kohmetscher shot a 36 to take fourth place.

The next flight had a three-way tie. First place was won by Julie and Katie Bonifas. Second place went to Jaycee Schroer and Nicole Cassell. Third place went to Sam Nejezchleb and Peggy Faimon. Dee Kohmetscher and Nancy Menke shot a 39 to take fourth place.

Flag prize winners were hole No. 1 longest putt – Nicole Cassell 122”; No. 2 closest to the pin on tee shot – Tara Drudik 73”; No. 3 closest to the pin on 2nd shot – Mary Kathman 56 ”; No. 4 longest drive in fairway – Katie Bonifas; No. 5 closest to the pin on third shot – Carla Kohmetscher 6”; No. 6 closest to the pin on tee shot – Jaycee Schroer 105”; No. 7 closest to the pin on second shot – Carolyn Kohmetscher 69”; No. 8 longest putt – Jaycee Schroer 117”; and No. 8 closest to the pin on third shot – Carol Lemke in the hole.
