SHS football falls to Sandy Creek

The Superior High School football team traveled to Sandy Creek Friday and was rewarded with a 70-0 loss for their effort.

Nothing seemed to work in the Wildcats's favor as Sandy Creek dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage to remain undefeated. Superior has an 0-5 record.

Lincoln Sander completed four of his 16 pass attempts for 52 yards.

Kyler Boyles pulled in two receptions for 14 yards. Dayne Clark loped 30 yards with his one reception . Colten Butler had one reception for eight yards.

Clark made three solo tackles and had five assisted tackles. Boyles turned in three solo and three assisted tackles. Sander listed three solo and two assisted tackles for the game. Caiden Smullins owned two solo and five assisted tackles. Butler put up two solo tackles and three assisted tackles. Ja'Cobey Beck made one solo tackle and assisted with one tackle. Juan Arteaga had three assisted tackles.

The Heartland Community Huskies visit Superior Friday for a rare afternoon game with kickoff scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
