Charles Edward Simmons, the son of Jacob and Flora (Fitzgerald) Simmons, was born on Oct. 30, 1951, in Camarillo, California. He died on Sept. 19, 2023, at the Bryan LGH Medical Center East at Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 71 years, 10 months, 20 days.
Charles was educated in schools in California and was a high school graduate of Camarillo High School. He previously lived in Camarillo and El Rancho, California, before making his home in Superior.
