SHS cross country at Beloit

The Superior High School cross country teams competed at the Beloit Invitational Thursday.

The race was run over a 4K course.

The varsity boys finished in ninth place in the nine team field with 237 points. The four highest places are used to compile the team score. Other teams at the meet were Smokey Valley Home Educators, Bennington, Abilene, Minneapolis. St. John’s, Smith Center, Sacred Heart and Rock Hills.

Carsyn Koening was in 54th place in the 79 runner field with his time of 17:15.Kash wenske posted a time of 17:40.8. Brayton Meyer was in 58th place with his time of 17:43.6. Deylin Lawson was in 64th place with his time of 18:32.4. Ryder Cady had a time of 19:14 for 71st place. Ayron Grassman was in 79th place with his time of 27:43.

Victor Wagoner was in 25th place, with his time of 11:08.6, for the 1.5 mile boys middle school run. Levi Clark was in 49th place with a time of 12:16.2. Carter Eitzmann had a time of 12:16.8 for 50th place in the 80 runner field.

Tenley Siebecker finished the 1.5 mile middle school girls run with a time of 12:56.2 in the 43 runner field. Kaylee Roberts finished in 43rd place with her time of 20:51.9.

The Wildcats travel to David City today (Thursday) for the Southern Nebraska Conference meet.
