A new medsafe has been installed in the lobby of the Jewell County Sheriff's Office. Cindy Becker and Abigail Elkins applied for a received a grant from DCCCA to purchase the medsafe. The medsafe is a metal box that locks. This is to ensure no one can get into the prescriptions without a key.

Don Jacobs, Jewell County Sheriff, asks county residents who are no longer going to use a medication, bring it by the sheriff's office and dispose of it in the medsafe.
