Ruskinites recall memories made in fire ravaged house

Fortunately, no one was injured in the Saturday morning fire which likely sealed the fate of this house located northwest of the Ruskin business district. The fire left the interior severely damaged, windows out and holes in the roof. -Photos by Ava Petersen

Members of the Ruskin Volunteer Fire Department were called to battle a house fire about 8 Saturday morning.

The little blue house north of the C&M Supply office at the northwest edge of the east central Nuckolls County community was on fire.

The Express has not been able to confirm all the details associated with the fire but from what we have gathered no one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
