Lynda Kay Aksamit

Lynda Kay Aksamit, the daughter of Marlen and Lola (Myers) Noble, was born on March 13, 1960, in Superior, Nebraska. She died Nov. 2, 2023, at Brodstone Healthcare at Superior, at the age of 63 years, 7 months, 20 days.

Lynda was a Superior High School graduate. She worked in the Hotel Leslie kitchen for many years. She later was employed by the Superior Good Samaritan Society for 44 years, currently working as a CNA at the Victorian Legacy. She married David Aksamit on April 18, 1986, at Nelson. Together they enjoyed traveling and camping all over which included Yellowstone, Black Hills and especially Lovewell Lake.

Lynda loved her children and grandchildren, they were her life. She liked to bake and cook and had a cookbook collection. She would bake cakes for special occasions for many people and she enjoyed baking goodies and sharing them with the residents at the Legacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marlen and Lola; sisters, Joy Caylor, Marla Mae Howe; and her grandson, Ishan Zeke Berentes.

Survivors include her husband, David; and daughters, Heather (Joe) Berentes of Superior; and Courtney (Aaron) Mangels of Hastings; grandchildren: Ethan Beale, Ashton Berentes, Lily Mangels and Emma Mangels; and her sister, June Frasier of Superior; other relatives and a host of friends.

A celebration of life with family and friends was held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 6, 2023 at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may go in care of the family.
