Lawrence-Nelson High School senior; Nathan Elledge explains his Artwork at the Veterans' Day Program at the Lawrence-Nelson school Friday. He said: "I created the Air Force plaque using wood, spray paint, and acrylic paint. I used the cravy Machine in the shop to carve the Air Force emblem. The end of World War One officially came on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. Within several years after that countries started using that date to honor those who died in that war. The day came to be called "Armistice Day."
