If you happen to be a regular at the Nelson Library, you may notice a new face popping in from time to time. Teraesa Bruce will be joining Mary Statz and Dawn Shaw at the library a few hours a week.

Teraesa currently works for this newspaper and writes the weekly column “Love my Crazy Life” that is published in the Nuckolls County Locomotive Gazette. Teraesa’s interests include, reading, writing, swimming, camping, boating and photography, among other things. The list is long and her closets are full of her hobbies. She is a bit of a goofball and enjoys working with children of all ages.

Teraesa hopes to increase the number of those in the community who take advantage of the library by building an online presence, and assisting Mary and Dawn with future activities for all ages.

For now, Teraesa’s main focus will be building the library a website and strengthening its media presence online, as well as in the local newspaper. Teraesa is looking forward to learning the duties of a librarian and plans to continue working for the newspaper and managing the Nelson pool in the summer.
