Anthony Roy, from Bogue, Kansas, is the new Mankato city administrator. Roy has been in local government for approximately 10 years, both city and county. That, along with a deep interest in Jewell County, pushed him to apply for and accept the city administrator position for the City of Mankato.

Roy is from western Kansas and believes Jewell County is a lot like where he grew up. He also knows the Boyd family that used to own the newspaper in Mankato.
