Letters to Santa Claus will be featured in the Dec. 21 issue of this newspaper Holdovers may be printed in the Dec. 28 issue. Earlier this year, letters were sent to all area schools requesting the help of the teachers in the gathering and submission of letters, but we have found some of the letters have not yet reached the teachers.

It seems like Christmas should be several weeks away, but that isn’t the case. This newspaper has asked that letters be submitted by Dec. 13 to allow time for processing.

Children who did not write letters as part of a classroom exercise, may submit letters directly to the newspaper. They may be sent via email to [email protected], mailed to P.O. Box 408 or delivered to our office.

Letters sharing stories about Christmas memories may be submitted by readers of any age.
