Five gracious Lawrence homeowners opened their doors to the public on Saturday, Dec. 2. Around 75 people visited the homes that were beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Each showed their occupants' love of Christmas with decorated trees, nativity sets and special collections to share with their guests. Those showcasing their homes included Alec and Lenae Meyer, Brett and Lisa Peterson, Charles and Sandra Carpenter, Jeannine Schendt, and Todd and Laura Himmelberg. Also open to the public on Saturday was KD's Salon and Floral in downtown Lawrence.
