Dolores Jean Hubbard, the daughter of Lloyd and Lydia (Taylor) Schultz, was born Jan. 12, 1936, at Guide Rock, Nebraska. She died Nov. 28, 2023, at the Brodstone Healthcare Hospital in Superior, Nebraska.

Dolores was a graduate of the Hastings High School and after the completion of her formal education, she was employed as a seamstress with Mode O’ Day in Hastings. While attending a VFW event, she met the love of her life, Jasper. They were united in marriage on July 3, 1957, at Guide Rock. This union was blessed with two children, Edward W. and Susan K.
