A Mankato resident, Tori Jacobs, is the big winner in this year’s Superior Bucks promotion sponsored by the Superior Chamber of Commerce. Her name was drawn for the $500 jackpot prize. She now has a year to spend the prize at participating Superior stores. The bucks are awarded in a checks valued at $5 each so that means she will received a stack of 50 checks.

The bucks may be spent like cash at the Superior stores.

Pre-Christmas events are winding down this week.

Most Superior stores will be closed Christmas Day.

However, weather permitting Candy Cane Lane will be open in Lincoln Park each evening from 6:30 to 9 p.m. through New Year’s Eve.
