Wayne Bryan Herrmann, age 62, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at his home in El Dorado, Kansas. He was born on Jan. 6, 1961, in Santa Ana, Orange County, California, to Howard Richard Herrmann and Martha Angela (Carl) Herrmann.

He was a 1979 graduate of Mankato High School where he was a three sport letterman in football, basketball and golf. He also performed in the band. Shortly after high school, Wayne suffered a severe spinal cord injury while attending the Manhattan Area Technical College.
