Madisen Heusinkvelt, Maddi Bargen and Lilly Edwards, Superior, control the floor against Meridian, Friday.
It was a 1-2 or 2-1 week for the Superior varsity basketball teams depending upon whether you were considering the boys or the girls teams.
The girls won two and lost one while the boys won one and lost two.
In boys action Friday night, Superor defeated Meridian 54-33
But they couldn't keep the steam up and lost Saturday night to Centennial by a 51-15 margin.
The boys lost a close one, 42-40 to Blue Hill last Saturday.
The girls defeated Blue Hill, 39-31 last Tuesday and blew out Meridian 56 to 18 on Friday. The winning streak came to an end on Saturday when they fell to Centennial 44 to 37.
