David J. Bruns, the son of Herbert W. and Bettie Jane (Nelson) Bruns, was born March 21, 1959, at Superior, Nebraska. He died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at the Thayer County Hospital in Hebron, Nebraska, at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 28 days.

David received his formal education attending Superior Schools and graduating from the Superior High School. He was married to Pamela Keeling. This union was blessed with a son, Jon, in 1987.
