The Superior High School boys basketball team closed out 2023 with two losses at the Runza Holiday Tournament at Central City. The lost 64 to 23 to Cross County. The game was never close as the Wildcats trailed 37 to 9 at the half. They finished tourney play with a 49 to 22 loss to Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Saturday. They enter 2024 with a 1-9 record. Statistics were unavailable at press time.
Superior visits Hebron Friday for a game against Thayer Central. Fillmore Central plays at Superior Saturday. The Wildcats visit Henderson Tuesday for a game with the Heartland Huskies.
