Lloyd LeeRay Falk, 87, the son of Lloyd M. Falk and Ethel V. (Anderson) Falk, was born April 5, 1936, on the family farm northwest of Jamestown, Kansas. He died Jan. 10, 2024, at Holiday Resort Health & Rehab, Salina, Kansas.

LeeRay grew up in the Jamestown area, attending Prairie Gem School and later James-town High School before graduating from Montrose High School.

He attended Fort Hays State University for three years, receiving an assoc-iate's degree.

LeeRay was a lifetime farmer and also worked at the Formoso Bank for more 30 years, from 1967 until his retirement in 2000 as a bank officer, and continued to work part-time after his retirement. He lived in Jewell and later in Formoso for many years, later moving to Belleville.

On June 8, 1996, he was united in marriage to Adelia "Dee" Eakins Hay. They enjoyed traveling and sight-seeing. She preceded in him death on April 18, 2015.

LeeRay enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors. He was a member of the Ada Lutheran Church, Courtland, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ethel Falk; his wife, Adelia "Dee" Falk; two sisters, Sandra J. Hanson and Karen A. Falk; one brother, Leon Falk; half-brothers, Duane and Gerold Engstrom; and step-son, Jody Hay.

LeeRay is survived by his sister-in-law, Judy Falk of Harveyville, Kansas; brother-in-law, Dennis Hanson, of Bennington, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews; Two step-sons, Landy (Bev) Hay of Belleville, Kansas, and Scott Hay of Scandia, Kansas; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan, 18, 2024, at Ada Lutheran Church, rural Courtland, with Pastor Kathy Aeillo officiating.

Inurnment will follow in the Ada Lutheran Cemetery, rural Courtland.

Friends could sign the register from 1 until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, and after 1 p.m, Thursday at the church.
