On Friday, Sabastian L. Dunbar, the 30-year-old Superior resident charged with first degree murder, waived waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Nuckolls County Court and was bound over to district court.

The preliminary hearing is an option which requires the prosecutors to present why they believe the accused should proceed to district court.

According to the arrest affidavit, Dunbar and the deceased, Molly Gruber, were involved in a domestic dispute at their shared Superior residence on Dec. 17, The couple’s 2-year-old daughter was at the home during the altercation.
