Sacred Heart parish in Lawrence has been issuing periodic reports on the clean-up and work at the parish church since the fire damage was sustained last October. The latest report was given in last Sunday’s church bulletin and included the following:

• Farris Construction crew came in and took all the wood floor out of the sanctuary and the west sacristy.

• Scaffolding will be coming in Monday of this week in the sanctuary.

• Kucera Painting will begin cleaning the walls, asbestos removal in the basement will begin.

• Temporary heating and lighting will be installed.

• Behind the scenes obtaining bids and other work is continuing.
