Spaghetti dinner helps raise money for library's outdoor improvements

Layla Fox joined her grandparents, Craig and Kathy McMahon, for lunch on Sunday at the Nelson Community Center. The library was raising funds to spruce up the backyard for summer movie nights and outdoor activities.
The Nelson Library held a free will donation spaghetti dinner Sunday at the Nelson Community Center. Library board members and volunteers prepared and served the meal. The event brought in a little more than $2,000 for the outdoor renovations such as sprucing up the backyard for summer movie nights and outdoor activities.
