What a change a week can make. Last week there were people out on Lovewell Lake ice fishing. This week the snow geese have arrived and the ice is buckling. This picture was taken by Mary Utecht on Sunday.

What a change a week can make. Last week there were people out on Lovewell Lake ice fishing. This week the snow geese have arrived and the ice is buckling. This picture was taken by Mary Utecht on Sunday.

In good weather, Tierney Casper, elementary music teacher often jogs pushing this large wheeled stroller with her two preschool children. So Sunday afternoon, when a portion of Superior had semi-dry streets, the children begged to go outside. They were thrilled to jump in the water puddles, let their hair fly in the breeze, feel the warmth of the sun and see the snow lined streets. Pictured are Tierney, and her children Kali and Clara, accompanied by the family dog.
