Updated city and school board election filings

 

February 15, 2024



As of Tuesday morning the following have filed for positions in Nuckolls County for local offices to be filled in the 2024 elections. Superior: Marty Pohlman - airport authority for 6 years. For city council, incumbents Darrell Brandt and Sandra Foote for four year terms; Rob Williams and Craig Hale have also filed. James Flores, an incumbent, had not filed.

Nelson City Council:  Tammy Frahm, an incumbent, has filed for a 4-year city council term; David Palmer and George Bruce have also filed. Charles Tuttle, incumbent, had not filed.

Oak: Derrick Drohman, incumbent, Board 4 years, has filed. Richard Lowery and Michael Hinz incumbents, had not filed.

Nora: Dave Gebers and Margo Williams had filed for a 4 year term on the board.

Hardy:  Jasmyn Bartholomew has filed. Incumbents Mary Roberts, Lynda Paulk and Richard Watson had not filed.

Ruskin: Incumbents Nathan Brandt, Mark Eggers and Brock Corman had not filed.

Lawrence: Incumbents Sara Griffis, Terry Cox and Brett Petersen had not filed for the positon on the board for 4 year terms.

School Boards

L-N: Lance Williams and Phil Janda, have filed. Phil Brockman had not filed. Three are to be elected.

Superior: Incumbents Peggy Meyer and Luke Meyer had filed for 4 year terms. Matt Sullivan had not filed.

Three are to be elected.

For the May primary elections, the deadline for incumbants to file was yesterday (Wednesday). Others have until March 1. The village board positions have a later deadline.
